How this works
Two views. The By Team view shows every player with an injury designation for a specific team — useful when you want to know the health status of your own roster or a team you're facing. The By Status view lets you filter across the league by designation (Out, Doubtful, Questionable, Probable) and position — useful for scanning the full universe of banged-up players at a specific spot.
What the designations mean. Out — player will not play. Doubtful — unlikely to play (historically less than 25% chance of playing). Questionable — genuinely uncertain, often decided game-time; this is the designation that requires the most monitoring. Probable — expected to play, minor concern. IR — placed on Injured Reserve; out for an extended period (minimum four weeks in the modern NFL).
Practice participation. Shows the latest recorded practice status: Full (full participation), Limited (limited participation), or DNP (did not participate). Because the data model stores one record per player per week, this reflects the most recently recorded status — often the Friday report — rather than a full Wed/Thu/Fri log. Late-week upgrades and downgrades are reflected after the next data refresh.
Injury type. Where available, the injury descriptor (Hamstring, Ankle, etc.) is sourced from Sleeper's player data. When not available, the field shows "—" — the absence of a descriptor does not mean the player is healthy.
Data freshness. This tool refreshes on the same daily cadence as the RankFantasy ETL. The vintage label at the top shows the most recent week in the data. Designations can change through the week as practice reports come in; always verify against the latest official reports before making lineup decisions.
Data provenance. Injury designations and practice participation are sourced from nflverse (CC-BY 4.0), which aggregates the official NFL injury reports. Injury type data is sourced from Sleeper.
Informational only — not betting, DFS, or lineup advice. Injury designations reflect the latest available data and can change; always confirm before decisions. Data via nflverse (CC-BY 4.0) and Sleeper. Not affiliated with or endorsed by the NFL, any team, or Sleeper.
