How to use the Schedule Analyzer
Category leagues. In roto and head-to-head category leagues, the number of games a player's team plays in a scoring period directly affects their counting stat accumulation. Teams with 7 or 8 games in a week are significantly more valuable than teams with 5 — especially for rate-stat categories where volume matters.
Doubleheaders (DH). A doubleheader gives a batter two games in one day on a single roster slot. Knowing which teams have a DH scheduled lets you prioritize their batters for streaming — even a reserve-quality bat produces roughly double the expected counting stats on a DH day.
Home vs. away. Batters generally produce more at home (park familiarity, lineup construction, crowd energy). SPs generally prefer pitcher- friendly home parks. The home/away split in the grid lets you cross-reference with park factors from the Matchup Rater.
Schedule window. The analyzer shows the upcoming ~9 days of schedule data from the MLB Stats API — the same window the ETL uses to compute Start Scores. This is the actionable horizon for weekly roster decisions, not a full-season view. Schedule subject to postponements and rescheduling.
